What does fBILM represent?

FBILM is the Fellowship of the British Institute for Longevity Medicine. It recognises doctors and other suitably qualified clinicians who have made a meaningful contribution to longevity medicine, whether through examination, clinical leadership, research, education or service development.

BILM Fellowship is intended to signal commitment to high standards, evidence-based practice and professional integrity in longevity, preventive and regenerative medicine.

Ways to achieve Fellowship

There are two routes to FBILM:

Fellowship by Examination

This route is for GMC-registered doctors who wish to demonstrate advanced knowledge and clinical competence in longevity medicine through the BILM Fellowship Examination.

Candidates who successfully complete the examination and meet all membership requirements may be awarded FBILM.

Fellowship by Distinction

This route is for individuals who have made a significant and sustained contribution to longevity medicine through one or more of the following:

Applications for Fellowship by Distinction are considered on merit and evidence of impact, relevance and professional standing.
